I drew him quite some time ago now but have only just found him sitting on my hard drive. The story behind this image goes a bit like this:

Last year i moved into a rather shabby flat overlooking a car garage and roundabout in St Judes, Plymouth. I would often sit in my big comfy armchair which, i had pushed into the bay window for a more appetising view whilst carrying out my day to day duties online. Ray Phillips Cars was situated directly opposite me and i would always think to myself, what a small rounded, big headed man!

He almost looked like he should topple over in even the slightest of breezes. Plymouth is quite a windy place at times, being on the coast and all. He must have some super-power that keeps him from falling. One day i decided to draw him, thus a super hero was born, in the form of MR RAY! See how it sounds like mystery, clever stuff.

So that explains this picture. I might make an evil mastermind version. Maybe he should have a motorbike.
